Using the Installer/Updater Print
The updater is a module in Thyme that allows you to easily check for updates. You may download and install these updates without waiting for the next version of Thyme. To access updates, log in as a super-user (usually 'admin'), click on Admin at Thyme's footer, then click on the Installer / Updates icon.

(this icon may read "Updates")

This will bring you to the Updater. First, click on Check for Updates. This will download the list of updates available. If none are available, that means that Thyme is up to date. If one or more updates are available, you will see a list of files.

The File is the path and file name relative to Thyme's directory. Writable indicates whether or not the file is Writable. In some setups, all files will be writable, in others not. It really depends on your hosting provider, or you, if you run your own web server.

If the file is writable, an Update button will be displayed. If that is the case, simply click on Update to download and install the updated version of the file. If the file is not writable, do not be alarmed. This is normal in some configurations. Simply click on the file name to download it. Once downloaded, upload it to the path specified by File, overwriting the existing file. Don't forget to upload in binary mode! Once this is done for all the files listed, Thyme should now display that there are no updates available.
