By default, Thyme allows each user to configure their own options. Once logged in, a user may edit his/her options by clicking on Options at Thyme's footer. If you wish to change the default options or public access options, please use the Default Options item in Thyme's Admin panel.
In the Options screen, you will be presented with the following:

- Theme - Sets the theme that Thyme will use. You may force all users to use the same theme in Admin -> Site Settings. If you do this, the Theme option will no longer appear under a user's Options.
- Default View - This sets the default view presented to a user when they navigate to Thyme.
- Default Calendar - This sets the default calendar presented to a user when they navigate to Thyme.
- Show Week Numbers - When this option is set, Thyme will display week numbers for each week in the Month view. These are clickable links which will navigate to Thyme's Week view.
- Event Size - This sets the size of events in Thyme's Month view. If your calendar contains many events you may wish to set the display to a smaller size.
- Collapse Events - This option collapses long event titles in the Month view. When you hover your mouse over an event, it will then expand to it's full size.
- Show Event Category Names - This option displays an event's category (or categories) name next to it's title in all of Thyme's views.
- Event Popup - This option tells Thyme to use a Popup window to display events in.
- Event Notes Popup - This option tells Thyme to display a popup of each event's notes when a user's mouse is hovered over it.
- Hour Format - Specifies the format of hours displayed in Thyme. Either 12 or 24 hour format.
- Time Intervals - This option tells Thyme how granular to display times in a day view.
- Week starts on - This option tells Thyme which day weeks should start on. This affects Month and Week views.
- Work hours - This affects the default length of time displayed in Thyme's Day view. If an event happens before or after the times specified here Thyme will stretch the Day view display so that no events are missed.
